Inktober first week is almost done. Some artists decided not to make the challenge this year (like Moon, a great artists I presented in last week post: he’s to busy working on his next show). Many others artists are drawing every day and I’m really impressed by their styles and inspirations. Let’s discover 5 more talentuous artists ! And a surprise guest may be back, too 😉

Brian Kesinger and his smashing pumpkinhead

Roasted. #jasperjpumpkinhead considers his latest invention quite handy when it comes to making s’mores. More drawings of Brian Kesinger on my blog. #inktober #inktober2018 #drawingchallenge #doodles #illustrationoftheday #characterdesign #illustrationartists #sketches #jakeparker #jasper

Brian Kesinger worked more than twenty years for Disney.
Brian recently joined with Alcon entertainment. Actually he is working on an animated short about an inventive scarecrow named Jasper J. Pumpkinhead. The character is the cute star of his Inktober 2018.

Syertse, the streamer

« Syertse ( Oleksandra Zaliska ) is an illustrator who likes drawing pretty girls » , she wrote on her website. Yes, her girls, inspired by the anime world, are pretty indeed 😉 You can watch her streaming on Twitch using Photoshop and a Wacom Cintiq to draw.

Samantha Mash and the four Horsewomen

Samantha Mash is an illustrator living in the Pacific Northwest. Samantha is interested in the place of iconography within her illustrative work. Her art is heavily focused on symbolism and the human form, which she uses to explore concepts of vulnerability, identity, anxiety, repression, and freedom.
The four women she drew for the beginning of Inktober are  not vulnerables : meet the four Horsewomen of the Apocalypse ! If you love them, you already can buy their prints on Etsy.

Anna Meshchanova digital drawings

Anna Meshchanova is a russian concept artist. She decides to go digital for Inktober this year. She has the right to do that, even Jake Parker is drawing digitally this year (in fact, he is doing both, digital and ink). And who really cares about rules? Inktober is a funny creative challenge 😉 Talking about funny, look at her drawings and smile. Dracula‘s resting place is so cool 🙂

Lydia Fenwick is an american illustrator who likes animals, astrology, and lingerie. And she draw them perfectly. Look at the colors of her drawings, it’s amazing ! Not only does she draw but she also records it, and puts the timelapse on her Youtube Channel.
